Does Southwest Medical rent equipment?

Yes. Southwest Medical rents almost any product offered for sale.  Rental agreements are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  Simply call +1 (800) 259-5940 to speak with a trained equipment rental specialist.  


What is the shortest/longest rental agreement I can make?

Southwest Medical rental agreements can be as short as one month and as long as 12 months.  For rental agreements over 12 months please visit our rental subsidiary, HERC, at www.HERCmedical.com.


Do you sell equipment to private individuals or only healthcare facilities?

Southwest Medical only sells equipment to licensed healthcare facilities.  Unfortunately we do not sell equipment to private individuals.


Is Southwest Medical licensed?

Yes. Southwest Medical is licensed in the State of Oklahoma, and maintains good standing with the Better Business Bureau.


Are you affiliated with any other medical equipment companies?

HERC is a subsidiary of Southwest Medical.  In the event you would like to rent equipment for a period of greater than 12 months, please visit www.HERCmedical.com.

Warranties & Biomedical Service

What is your equipment warranty?

In most cases, Southwest Medical provides comprehensive 1-year parts and labor warrantees with service support.  Extended warrantees are available in some cases.


Does Southwest Medical provide biomedical service?

Yes!  We maintain an expert staff of certified biomedical technicians trained to service each piece of equipment offered. Our technicians are also trained to provide ongoing equipment management in the field including extended warranty support, emergency troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and safety certifications.


How do I report a problem with my equipment?

What is your service turnaround time?

In most cases, a certified biomedical technician will arrive on site to resolve a service issue within 24 hours (weekends and holidays excluded).  While every service call is of utmost importance, it is imperative to note that service calls are prioritized by severity level.


Payments & Refunds

How do I pay?

Online payments through swmedical.com must be made via credit card.  In some cases, credit terms may be available to licensed healthcare facilities.  For a customized equipment quotation with credit terms, simply call +1 (800) 259-5940 to speak with a trained equipment specialist. 


Is my financial information secure?

Southwest Medical utilizes security measures to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information placed under our control.  We utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for mutual authentication, data encryption, and data integrity - to ensure secure transactions for our customers.  SSL is the industry standard security protocol to encode sensitive information, such as your credit card number.  Furthermore, Your information will never be sold, rented, disclosed, loaned or otherwise made available for any third party solicitation.


What is your refund policy?

Southwest Medical does not issue refunds after products have been delivered, except for products shipped in error.  At its discretion, Southwest Medical may choose to accept returned products for which there may be a restocking charge.
