President Obama Overturns Stem Cell Policy

This morning President Obama signed an executive order overturning the Bush policy limiting federal funding of stem cell research. President Obama also included a memorandum providing greater financial support for science policies and programs.

Stem cell research is a topic of great controversy here in the United States. Some believe it is a moral issue, while others think it is purely scientific. What do you think?
